ISAO Standards Organization Announces Third Annual International Information Sharing Conference

The Information Sharing and Analysis Organization Standards Organization (ISAO SO) will host its Third Annual International Information Sharing Conference (IISC) August 21-22, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. The theme is “Information Sharing in Communities.”

The two-day event will again welcome cybersecurity information sharing and analysis organizations from around the world to address information sharing issues affecting the information sharing ecosystem and its impact on communities locally, regionally, nationally and abroad.

“The ISAO SO is dedicated to driving the conversation on the value of information sharing and building trust among communities,” said Dr. Greg White, executive director of the ISAO SO. “The Third Annual IISC will bring together the entire information sharing ecosystem, with a focus on communities, and build upon last year’s focus on pushing this ecosystem forward.”

The ISAO SO, led by the UTSA Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS), with support from LMI, is a non-governmental organization established in October 2015 to facilitate the implementation of Presidential Executive Order 13691, “Promoting Private Sector Cybersecurity Information Sharing.”

New in 2019, the IISC will be held in conjunction with the CyberTexas Foundation’s Annual Conference and Exhibition. The ISAO SO and CyberTexas Foundation will hold their conferences back-to-back and offer discounts to conference attendees that attend both events.

Further details about the International Information Sharing Conference, including how to secure exhibitor space, a call for topics, keynote speaker announcements and more, will be available on ISAO.org in the coming weeks.
