New and Emerging ISAOs Roundtable — April 26, 2017

The Information Sharing and Analysis Organization Standards Organization (ISAO SO) hosted an online New and Emerging ISAOs Roundtable call on April 26.

Monthly online roundtables are open to New and Emerging ISAOs as well as individuals interested in learning more about starting an ISAO. Roundtables provide an opportunity to share knowledge and ask questions regarding Information Sharing and Analysis Organizations.

This month’s roundtable topic was CISA Plus Confidentiality:  How to Integrate Interdisciplinary Cyberlaw Support into an ISAO. The guest speaker, Doug DePeppe, a cyberlaw practitioner with military and homeland security backgrounds, introduced how to design, for an ISAO, the advantages of litigation avoidance and confidentiality privileges under the attorney-client privacy umbrella for cyber engagements.

Doug DePeppe has been centrally involved in national-level and leading commercial cybersecurity initiatives for a decade. His deep background includes service for two White House cybersecurity initiatives. Mr. DePeppe engages in a multidisciplinary practice and is Co-founder of the Cyber Resilience Institute, a seminal regional threat information exchange and cyber-resilience center with regional affiliations across the Nation’s landscape.

Roundtable discussions are open to all new and emerging ISAOs who have completed the ISAO Registration form. Click here to complete your ISAO Registration to receive more information regarding this call.
