The Information Sharing and Analysis Organization Standards Organization
Announces Awards for 2017 Individual and Organization

The Information Sharing and Analysis Organization Standards Organization (ISAO SO) has launched nominations for the inaugural Information Sharing Hall of Fame Awards, which are open through September 22. These awards will be presented as part of the International Information Sharing Conference on October 31 and November 1 in Washington, D.C.

The Information Sharing Hall of Fame Awards recognize those individuals and organizations who have demonstrated the highest standards of professional competence and selflessness, and have contributed significantly to the promotion of the information sharing ecosystem.

The ISAO SO is accepting nominations for two award categories in 2017:

  • Information Sharing Hall Of Fame 2017 Inductee—Individual: This individual should be a notable leader and visionary based upon their leadership in advancing, growing, and shaping the information sharing community. Individuals should have demonstrated success in leading information sharing organizations, initiatives, or academic research.
  • Information Sharing Hall Of Fame 2017 Inductee —Organization: This award honors an organization for their commitment to advancing information sharing as a vital aspect of cybersecurity defense plans. This award is open to any organization and is not limited to information sharing organizations. Nominees will be evaluated based upon the past year’s accomplishments and contributions to the cybersecurity information sharing ecosystem at large.

Nominations are being accepted through September 22. Members of the general public may submit their nominations through the Information Sharing Hall of Fame Awards nomination page on ISAO.org. Please click here for more information about submitting your nomination today.

A nominee’s accomplishments and length of service are considered in the selection process to the Hall of Fame. An individual may be recognized multiple times for separate periods of service and/or accomplishments but may only receive the physical award once, presented at the annual conference.

The inaugural International Information Sharing Conference will focus on benefits and best practices in information sharing, the importance of analysis in building a national cybersecurity information sharing ecosystem, cross-sector sharing and intelligence exchange, state and local information sharing, and services provided to information sharing organizations. The conference will conclude National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

Registration for the International Information Sharing Conference is currently open on the ISAO SO website.
